Wedge Laneway House
The Wedge Laneway House begins as a single, decisive move. A triangular form rises from the ground.
Light enters from above, through a long, linear window near the peak of the roof. It spills downward along the sloped ceiling, stretching across the living space. Light cascading and softening the edges of the compact interior.
Inside, the house is organized as a gentle sequence of split levels. The living room sits at the top, catching the highest light. A step down leads to the kitchen and dining area, and another step settles into the more private spaces below. These staggered floors carve out zones without closing them off. You’re always aware of the whole, even as each space holds its own character.
